SEVERAL members of Prestatyn Running Club took on three races in four days last week, but two of them then capped it off with a triathlon.

David Ellis and Nicki Triggs were joined by Ben Thomas in a relay team for the Olympic distance tri in Ellesmere on Saturday and, despite having raced the previous evening, they took first team prize.

Nicki covered the 1,500-metre swim in 35m 15s, then Ben covered the 38k ride in 1-13.56.

On his 10k run, David set a new pb of 41.56 for the distance, giving them an aggregate time of 2-34.08.
