A TRIO of runners from Abergele pounded the muddy puddles at Conwy parkrun on Saturday (October 14).
There was a hail shower at the beginning of the run as 186 participants took on the course.
Of these, Abergele runners John Jones (Eryri Harriers), David Jones (North Wales Road Runners Club) and Carol Moss (NWWRC) finished in 21st, 23rd and 73rd places respectively.

John recorded a time of 22.34 and was first in the V65 category, David managed 22.46, and Carol finished in 27.10.
On Sunday (October 15, the 2023 Manchester Half Marathon took place, with Abergele-based James Yarwood (Wrexham AC) enjoying an impressive run.
James managed a new personal best with a time of 72:59, taking 61st place out of more than 12,000 runners.
