YESTERDAY (September 24) saw Abergele Harriers represented at the Farndon 10k, near Wrexham.
The race incorporated an Inter Counties match between North Wales, Cheshire and Staffordshire.
Rachel Shipley ran in the ladies’ team, helping them to finish in second place to Cheshire Ladies.

On an undulating course, Rachel finished ninth lady in 51st position in 40:35.
Also running on the day was Darren Blazier, who finished 50th in 40:31.
Meanwhile, Danny Snelson travelled to the Harrow parkrun, finishing in an excellent 18th position in 21:30.
Anthony Howe ran with his son in the Leicester Victoria parkrun, finishing in 55.20 for 374th position.
