SOME OF Rhyl’s most popular attractions will be lit up blue next month to raise awareness of prostate cancer.
The Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, 1891 Restaurant and Bar, the Sky Tower, and SC2 will be lit up throughout March to shine a light on the disease.
In Wales, one in eight men will get prostate cancer at some point in their lives.
The Denbighshire Leisure Ltd (DLL) team will also be raising money through special fitness classes, a social media campaign, coffee and cake dates at their fitness clubs’ cafes, and wearing blue.

Jamie Groves, managing director of DLL, said: “This is a fantastic cause to get behind and DLL are going all out to spread awareness for prostate cancer month this March.
“‘March the Month’ is a virtual step challenge that we’re bringing to our clubs and fitness sites, for anyone who wants to keep active and help beat prostate cancer.
“You can join thousands of people, across the nation, committing themselves to walk or wheel 11,000 steps a day throughout March.
“Join in with our classes, wear blue and share the message this March, it could help save a life.”
