A SHOP in Prestatyn was the scene of a burglary in the early hours of today (October 12).
This was at the town’s Co-op shore, on Ffordd Penrhywylfa, shortly after 1.30am.
The store, which is believed to have been targeted by two offenders, has since re-opened to the public.

A spokesperson for Co-op confirmed: “There was an incident at our Ffordd Penrhwylfa, Prestatyn, store in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, 12 October).
“We appeal for anyone who may have seen or heard anything to come forward to police, who are investigating.
“The store has re-opened to serve the community.”
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a report of a burglary at the Co-op on Ffordd Penrhwylfa, Prestatyn in the early hours of this morning.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101, or via the website, using reference number 23000997220.”
