ARMED police were in attendance at an incident at a hotel in Rhyl this morning (September 21).
A witness spotted officers at the Sand Beach Hotel, on East Parade, at about 11.35am today.

The witness said that there were “five or six police cars” at the hotel, as well as an armed response unit, with “lots of police outside and inside the hotel”.
North Wales Police confirmed to the Journal that this was in relation to a “concern for safety incident”.
A Welsh Ambulance spokesperson added: "We were called at 10.40am but weren’t required to attend as police were dealing."
