A NEW spiritual centre has opened in Rhyl, providing services such as clairvoyance, Reiki and more.

The Amethyst Spiritual Centre has been up and running since just before Christmas, with events taking place on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Based at 57 Kinmel Street, the centre will also host an open day at its premises on Saturday, March 18.

It has been set up by Shirley Wilson and Donna Dever, who are keen to expand the centre further in the coming months.

Shirley said: “I’ve always been a spiritualist since I was a small child, and Donna has always wanted to open her own centre.

“We had a couple of nice services before Christmas, but we thought we’d have an open day just to get (the word out) further afield.

“It’s a healing centre; the energy here is beautiful. We’re keeping Thursday and Friday for upcoming workshops.

“One of the workshops will be a meditation circle, teaching people how to meditate, and other workshops will be on crystal and spiritual healing, life coaching, things like that.”

On Sunday, the centre hosts a “divine service”, while Monday evening involves a service of clairvoyance.

Tuesday is an “open circle”, while Wednesday is a Reiki evening at the centre.

Donna said: “We’re here to help and heal; there are going to be lots of things happening - it’s a centre for everyone.

“If people want to come in and have half a day to do Reiki, or any sort of healing, they’re very welcome to.

“We’re only just opening now, but we’re going to have different courses on each day. We’re getting a few people in now; we just need to get out there a bit more.”
