NORTH Wales Police (NWP) say they are aware of an increase to drug paraphernalia being discarded in two areas of Rhyl.
The problem centres around the River Street and Emlyn Grove areas, and police are warning residents and their children to be careful.
A NWP Denbighshire Coastal and Abergele spokesperson said: “We are aware of an increase in used drug paraphernalia being discarded in the River Street and Emlyn Grove areas of Rhyl. We are currently working with partnership agencies to tackle this issue.
“We are advising local residents to be mindful of this, and advise their children of the dangers of picking up these items.
“If you have any information or witness any suspicious or unusual activity in this area: https://orlo.uk/c5hWX or call 101.”
