MORE than 3,000 people attended Rhuddlan Food Festival on the weekend as the event celebrated the best of regional food and drinks, with music and other entertainment on offer.

Organised by volunteers Ffion White and Arwel Roberts, with help from North Wales-wide Bespoke Fitness and Events, the event aims to support our local food, drink and craft producers and suppliers.

Among the local vendors were The Clog and Pancake, Mug Run, Green Island Bistro, The Little Cheese Monger, Bella Prosecco Van, Goch & Co, Phure Liquors, Farmhouse Kitchen, and Bwts Bach Brown.

A variety of entertainers took to the stage, with headliners Wee Wag Band showcasing their Irish music, as well as Dyffryn Devas, Saxaphone Duo, and kids entertainer Proffesor Llusern.

With more than 3,000 people in attendance, and over 50 stalls selling hot food, crafts and cakes, the event was a roaring success, something Organiser Ffion White was grateful to supporters for.

“Though I was tired at the end of the event I was really pleased for the support given to “Gwledd Rhuddlan” by the residents and visitors far and wide.

One business, Bri’s Blooming Metals from Rhuddlan, also sold a metal dragon to a family in Wilmslow, England, while Jake’s Cocktail Corner provided much-needed refreshment with their pop-up bar.
