ABERGELE Ladies Rugby have won the WRU Women’s National League in North Wales, after pipping Llangefni RFC to the title.
The ladies were presented with their trophy and medals by a Welsh Rugby Union representative on Friday, 5 August.
Having faced some tough competition from teams are across the North Wales region, the ladies worked hard through the 2021-22 season after a break due to Covid-19, but showed fighting spirit to come back and secure the top spot.
A club spokesperson said: “The ladies and coaches are very proud to win this after the hard work that went into the season and they are looking forward to 2022-23 season.”
