In an impressive performance, Kinmel Bay FC beat Rhuddlan Town FC 5-0 in the FAW Amateur Trophy over the weekend.
Both teams initially defended well, but the attack from the Bay broke through 66 minutes into the game with Daniel McIlvogue, assisted by Jordan Bellham, kickstarting a flurry of goals for the Bay.
Most goals came from close encounters near the goal mouth, Sean Sheridan scored three goals in a matter of minutes following his 65th minute entry as a substitute.
The remaining two were netted by captain Charlie Jones and McIlvogue.
After the promising victory against the Miners last week, the Bay's triumph over Rhuddlan indicates a strong season ahead.
