A BUSY weekend for Abergele runner John Jones, of Eryri Harriers, started with a new PB at Prestatyn parkrun.
On a sunny Saturday morning (February 17), with great conditions at the Nova centre, John had a time of 21.21 and finished in seventh place and first in V65.

Sunday was the 2024 Annual Village Bakery Half Marathon, with heavy rain overnight, resulting in a damp start.
But conditions improved and, with more than 1,700 runners, John had a time of 1:37:37, 591st place and fifth in V65.
Also running from Abergele was Heather Foden in her third half-marathon.
She finished in a time of 2:39:27.
