CPD Y Merched Bangor’s first game of their Genero Adran North campaign was preceded by a musical performance by The Regimental Band and Corps of Drums of The Royal Welsh on Sunday (September 3).
The Goat Major and LCpl Shenkin IV, the Regimental Mascot, was also in attendance, as Bangor lost their opening match 1-0 to Rhyl.
The Regimental Band and Corps of Drums marched onto the pitch at 1.30pm for an opening ceremony, prior to kick-off at 2pm.

Sade Benjamin scored the only goal of the game on 18 minutes after meeting Rachael Thomas’ through ball before firing past the goalkeeper.
Entry to the game was free, with donations accepted for Bangor Cathedral Foodbank.
