TITLE hopefuls Prestatyn Sports have made three more additions to their squad for the upcoming campaign.

The ambitious club is looking to make a serious impression in the new NWCFA Tier 4 (East) Premier Division next season after finally securing a 25-year lease on the Meadows playing fields in Prestatyn, and their task will be further aided by the acquisitions of Simon Fawcett, Ryan Brady and Sam Warhurst.

All three have played for the club previously and bring a wealth of experience operating at a higher standard that the one Sports are currently plying their trade.

Fawcett is a dynamic wing player who has been coveted heavily by the management team over the last few seasons, and they now finally have their man.

Versatile player Brady was part of the North Football Association side that secured promotion in their first campaign last time out and is another welcome boost for the squad, with Warhurst’s defensive qualities there for all to see during a standout career to date.

First team manager Jon Hargreaves, said: “Sam is a player we have wanted to sign for the last few seasons and we can now proudly say he’s a Sports player again.

“A great addition to the club and we’re sure he will be weighing in with a decent goal tally this season.

“Ryan returns after leaving the club a few years ago to take up hockey, and then had a brief spell at NFA last season.

“A great box to box player with bags of energy. A great lad to have around and a great player too and welcomed back with pleasure, sure to be an important part of the forthcoming season.

“Sam is another player returning after a few years away playing lower division football.

“He is looking like the old Sam in training, is another real character the lads love to have around. Sam is a great defensive player, good with the ball and great in the air.”
