RHUDDLAN Town are about to embark on the NWCFA Tier 4 (East) Premier Division next season once the domestic game finally gets the green light from the Football Association of Wales.

Wayne Hughes’ side were at the top of their game last term on their way to the Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League Premier Division title, but they face a stiff step up in class next time around thanks to some formidable adversaries in the FAW’s new tier structure.

The club has also lost two significant squad members in top scorer Jay Whitehouse and influential midfielder Mathew Beach, who both decided to join the newly formed CPD Y Rhyl 1879 and will square off against their former club during the upcoming campaign.

There are still plenty of quality options for Town to call upon as they look to make their mark at a higher standard next season. Here are three players who will need to be at the top of their game for the club to achieve their objectives.

Josh Parry:

Josh Parry is an energetic full-back who has grown in stature in recent seasons. His ability to get forward and make a difference in the final third is something that came to the fore last season, and he is sure to relish the challenge of playing against a higher class of opposition.

There will be no questioning Parry’s commitment in the tackle, with the player liking nothing more than flying into a challenge at any given opportunity. Parry Has quickly emerged as an invaluable member of Hughes’ squad, and he is going to play a significant role in whatever success comes their way.

Keiran Evans:

Keiran Evans has been a huge part of the Town set-up, and he is now returning in a playing capacity after taking a year off to concentrate coaching.

The midfielder will be tasked with setting the tempo from the middle of the park, and his ability to lead is another element of his game that should not be overlooked ahead of a big season for the club.

Jordan Bellham:

With Jay Whitehouse no longer around to provide the firepower, the onus will be on Jordan Bellham to step up and fill the void. The prolific striker has been a ruthless presence in front of goal over the last two seasons, and this is something that has been a real asset to the club.

Bellham had his fair share of suitors during the pre-season, but he opted to stay at his current club and will be counted on heavily to take chances in his customary fashion when they come his way.
