PRESTATYN Town have announced a restructure of their staff following the sale of the club by Neal Colakoglu.

The JD Cymru North champions are now in the hands of Liverpool-based investor Jamie Welsh, who has wasted no time in making changes to the team that will be tasked with the day-to-day running of operations next season and possibly beyond.

Leon Field will continue in his role as general manager, with Martin Jones moving to the positions of licensing officer and media officer.

Former board member Leigh Williams returns to the set-up as club CEO, having spent considerable time within the Town set-up in recent years.

Another notable addition is Mike Mainwaring, who has plenty of experience in domestic football and will come in as club secretary.

Welsh held a video conference meeting with the club's fanbase last Thursday, where he introduced himself and outlined his plans to progress the club under his tenor.

The new board members will play a significant role in potentially taking the club to the next level following their JD Cymru North title victory last season.

Their chances of promotion now appear slim after failing to obtain their Tier 1 Licence on appeal, although a statement outlined they had “not given up hope” regarding the matter.
