POPULAR striker Arek Piskorski has returned to Rhyl FC on loan until the end of the season.

The Cefn Druids forward made a lasting impression at the Educate Group Stadium during his first few weeks after arriving earlier this season, despite suffering a number of injuries that hampered his overall impact on the squad.

He managed to hit the target five times in 12 appearances for Eddie Maurice-Jones’ men before returning to the Rock, but he is now set to play a leading role for the JD Cymru North outfit for the remainder of the campaign.

Piskorski joined Cefn Druids in 2017 and was part of their Europa League squad at the start of the 2018/19 campaign, starting in both games for the Ancients’ against Trakai of Lithuania.

The Polish native has also represented Flint Town United on the domestic scene, in addition to Elana Torun, Rocko Konojady, WDA Swiecie, Grom Osie and Victoria Koronowo in his homeland.

Assistant manager Richard Williams-Cooke, said: “He has a great attitude, wants to win and just wants to play regularly. Huw (Griffiths) speaks really highly of him and having watched him I am sure he will excite our fans.

“Injuries have restricted us in the forward areas recently so this will give us more options.

“Arek is quick, skilful, direct and loves to run at players. He can play as a central striker or off either wing.

“We would like to thank Huw and Cefn Druids for their help in getting the paperwork sorted."
