FC MALLY'S long-standing unbeaten run came to an end in some style over the weekend as The Alex hammered them 6-0 in the Rhyl & District Sunday League.
The home side were 2-0 up at half time thanks to goals from Luke Smith and Allan Davies. In the second half, Adam Hold bagged a hat-trick and Davies added another goal to secure a huge three points.
In the other league match Swan and Prestatyn drew 3-3.
In the NWCFA Challenge Cup, the shock of the round came when Conwy Comrades humbled Royal Oak with a 5-1 win.
The Sun also progressed to the next round with a 5-0 win over Y Clwb.
