ALL FIVE Rhyl & District Sunday League fixtures were played over the weekend despite heavy wind and rain.

In the league itself, The Swan came away from Prestatyn with an impressive 4-1 win. Harrison Bell bagged a goal for the visitors before Adam Wright made it 1-1 at Half Time.

Another goal from Bellis alongside a Carl Howard strike and a stunning 30-yard effort from Thomas Dodd secured all three points for The Swan.

Elsewhere title-chasers Royal Oak and Bar Bow shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw. Cory Hughes, Matty Rees and Marcus Scott were on target for the home side and Steve Flanagan, Kelvin Berks and Barry Roach bagged for the visitors.

In the third and final league game, The Alex came away from Y Clwb with a 6-4 win. Joe Jones and Steven Williams bagged two goals each and Aiden Bell and Adam Hold were also on the scoresheet for the winners.

In the Lee Jones Memorial Cup, holders Mally progressed with a 5-3 victory over The Sun.

Kyle Robb hit two and Lee Ellis, Joe Hobson and league top scorer Francesco Gallina added the others.

Conwy Comrades also progressed in the cup with a 2-1 win over Rydal Athletic.
