ABERGELE turned in another fine attacking display to come away with a 4-2 home triumph over Y Glannau.

The in-form Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League Premier Division side were at their ruthless best to claim another three points and extend their positive start to the campaign, with Jack Gizzi on hand to convert a chance on 11 minutes to put them ahead.

Things got even better for the home side soon after when James Lloyd doubled their tally with a neat finish on the half hour mark, but the visitors picked themselves up at the interval and halved the deficit through Adam Hull with 47 on the clock.

Prolific striker Jack Hoult proved to be the difference between the two sides in the second period, firing in two goals in quick succession on 60 and 67 minutes respectively to all-but seal their win.

Ryan Jones did manage another consolation for the away side after 70 minutes, but his successful attempt did not have an impact on the overall outcome.

Llanfairfechan Town managed to claim a notable scalp thanks to a 4-0 home success over title fancies Llansannan.

Ryan Lewis was at the very top of his game in front of goal and emerged with a hat-trick as a result of his efforts, with Harry Crouston rounding off the scoring late on against Tom Lewis’ side, who were missing no fewer than 12 squad members for the clash.

Cerrigydurion also picked up three points from their weekend exploits with a 3-1 win at Rhos United, with the contest featuring goals from Elis Roberts, Gruff Edwards and Tirion Griffiths.
