PRESTATYN Town have officially confirmed the return of forward Jack Kenny.

The Seasiders’ announced another high-profile acquisition for Neil Gibson’s title hopefuls during what was a busy week for the club, with the experienced figure joining after a spell with JD Welsh Premier League side Cefn Druids during the second half of the previous campaign.

The striker was part of the Town side that secured the Huws Gray Alliance title under Gibson before making 20 top-flight appearances, scoring five goals.

He then moved on to the English system to sign with Atherton Collieries before moving to Huw Griffiths’ side, where he made a considerable impression during the second half of the campaign.

Druids are believed to be keen on holding on to Kenny despite the Seasiders’ interest and have offered him an extension.

Kenny arrived at Town following his release from Rhyl and he is the latest big name to have been offered a return to the FAW Tier Two Northern Championship side ahead of their expected promotion push.

His arrival comes after Michael Parker and Rob Hughes both agreed terms following their release by Connah’s Quay Nomads, with talented defender Kai Edwards also joining the ranks after a spell with Llandudno last season.
