PRESTATYN Town have targeted a familiar face in the hope of boosting their attacking options next season.

The Journal understands that the Seasiders’ have made an offer for Cefn Druids forward Jack Kenny, who previously enjoyed a hugely successful spell at the Motion Finance Stadium.

The experienced striker was part of the Town side that secured the Huws Gray Alliance title under Neil Gibson before making 20 JD Welsh Premier League appearances, scoring five goals.

He then moved on to the English system to sign with Atherton Collieries before moving to Huw Griffiths’ side, where he made a considerable impression during the second half of the campaign.

Druids are believed to be keen on holding on to Kenny despite the Seasiders’ interest and have offered him an extension.

Kenny arrived at Town following his release from Rhyl and he is the latest big name to have been offered a return to the FAW Tier Two Northern Championship side ahead of their expected promotion push.

The Journal revealed that midfield duo Michael Parker and Rob Hughes are set to sign following their release by Connah’s Quay Nomads, with talented defender Kai Edwards also joining the ranks after a spell with Llandudno last season.
