BEN Nash was the big winner at the Rhyl Football Club’s recent presentation evening.

The versatile defender scooped three awards as a result of his sterling efforts throughout the Huws Gray Alliance campaign, which ended with the Lilywhites finishing in fifth spot in the standings.

Nash took home the Players, Manager’s and Director accolades to seal a notable treble, with livewire wing-back Cai Owen named the Supporters’ Player of the Season.

The event, which took place at Rhuddlan Golf Club, also saw outgoing managing director Mike Jones receive a special award for his selfless contribution to the club during his time in the role, with Denis McNamee and Kevin Warner also receiving recognition.

Some of the Lilies’ Academy products also received awards as part of their involvement with the U19 set-up, with Ollie Staveley’s consistent performances securing the Players’ Player of the Year honour.

Ben Lockley’s outstanding progression throughout the season saw him pick up the Manager’s Player of the Year, with Harry Lockley’s exceptional development enough to seal the Most Improved Player distinction.

Rounding off the awards was Callum Roberts, who won Young Player of the Year thanks to his breakthrough into the senior squad from the U19s.
