PRESTATYN Running Club’s men’s squad turned in another superb performance in the Easter 5k Dash on Llandudno promenade.

They took the team prize with four finishers in the first 10 – and they did it without two of those who took the team prize the previous week in the Chester Spring 5.

Andy Bromley was back to form after illness and Canyon Wilson impressed once again.

For five of the members, the 10.30am race was their second of the day having run in the Conwy Parkrun at 9pm.

Tonight (Wednesday) the club hosts the seventh and final fixture in the Borders Road-Running League at the Ffrith, with several members in line for individual age-group awards .

The men are comfortably placed in fifth place in Division One while the women, in the same position, will have to fight to hold their place.

They will have to do without Jenna Bagnall who, having survived some tough and rugged mountain courses over the past couple of years, injured her toe while running upstairs!
