RHYL FC bolstered their squad before their derby clash against fierce rivals Bangor City with the signing of Raphael Glauser.
The talented 20-year-old signed on the dotted line in time to receive international clearance for their game against the Citizens, with Glauser arriving at the Educate Resource Stadium after spells playing in Lausanne-Sport Division 2 and Yverdon Sport Division 3 in Switzerland.
Glauser is a versatile defender that can play either full-back positions, and he is also training full time with JD Welsh Premier League title chasers Connah’s Quay Nomads.
He has signed for the Lilies’ until the end of the season, with the club given the option of extending the deal by a further year in the summer.
Dave Norman, sporting director at Rhyl FC, said: “Raphael is currently training full time with Connah's Quay Nomads and has signed with Rhyl until the end of the season with the option of signing next year.
“Raphael is a talented footballer who will has a promising future in football.
“He has attended several training sessions and has impressed the management team. International clearance was granted on Wednesday and Raphael will be added to this evenings (Friday’s) squad."
