A VIDEO featuring a Conwy Borough Football Club player’s outstanding vocal skills has gone viral on social media.

Lewis Clayton, who recently joined the Huws Gray Alliance side, was performing his initiation song on the bus home from their last-gasp win at Guilsfield, and his hidden talent was captured by a club representative who put it on their Twitter account.

The rendition of John Legend’s “All of Me” has since been picked up by popular channels such as Footy Accumulators and The Sportsman on the same platform and has been viewed nearly 200,000 times in the last 12 hours.

The video has received an extremely positive response, with many tipping the player for a tilt at the upcoming X Factor series later this year.

Clayton was one of a number of high-profile signings at Y Morfa earlier this summer following their memorable treble winning campaign that saw them clinch the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One title, in addition to the Cookson Cup and the prestigious FAW Trophy.

He was immediately snapped up by recently departed boss Gareth Thomas after relocating to the area from Stevenage, and Clayton has also represented Histon Town, St Ives Town and Soham Town Rangers during what has been an impressive young career to date.
