RHYL Football Club has confirmed another significant sponsorship deal on the eve of the Huws Gray Alliance season.

The Lilywhites announced an extension of the partnership with betting company Corbett Sports, who have agreed to become partner sponsors and the club’s official betting partnership.

Managing director Mike Jones, said: "We are delighted with the continuation of the support from Corbett Sports and I'm sure with their backing this will help the Club to push on this season."

Their logo will feature on the rear of the team’s home throughout the Huws Gray Alliance campaign, with Corbett Sports having a long association with the town after its first betting shops in 1947.

The family operation trades from a number of sites in the town together with other facilities across North Wales and the North of England in addition to its online presence.

Mark Roberts of Corbett Sports, added: "Corbett Sports are delighted to continue our support for Rhyl Football Club & with our sponsorship of the rear of this year's shirt we are showing we are fully behind the club in their quest to return to the Welsh Premier League."

Discussions are ongoing regarding branding sponsorship of the Lilies’ Belle Vue Stadium, which has been named the Corbett Sports Stadium over the last five years.

“Without them (Corbett Sports) and many of our other partner sponsors it would have been difficult to meet ongoing commitments such as the rental payments for the ground and to keep Rhyl FC surviving and seeking to achieve to be amongst the best teams in Welsh football,” added Jones.

The club also confirmed that a friendly contest with Barclays Premier League new-boys Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Academy side has been confirmed for Tuesday, August 14 (7.45pm kick-off).
