RHYL have significantly bolstered their attacking options ahead of the new Huws Gray Alliance season with the signings of Mike Pritchard and Oliver Buckley.

The highly touted duo are the latest additions to the Lilywhites squad, who take the field for the first time this Saturday when they entertain Altrincham at the Belle Vue Stadium (1pm).

Pritchard arrives at the club following a hugely impressive spell at JD Welsh Premier League side Cefn Druids, where he recorded 11 goals in 57 appearances and helped them achieve qualification to the Europa League last season.

He is no stranger to the Lilies after having a previous two-year spell, and he has also turned out for Prestatyn Town during a standout career to date.

Director of Football Eddie Maurice-Jones, said: “Mike’s another great addition to an already strong squad. He has progressed massively over the past few seasons under the guidance of Huw Griffiths at Cefn Druids, who arguably is one of the finest managers around.

“Mike comes with the winning mentally, experience and the quality we need to be successful.”

Buckley is a talented young prospect who has really made a name for himself throughout the region in recent years, and re-joins the Lilies after a brief spell in the top flight with Prestatyn last term.

His exceptional efforts with Welsh Alliance outfit Meliden also caught the eye, and Buckley is expected to provide further competition for places as the ambitious side looks to secure promotion to the WPL in the coming months.

“Oli has already shown he’s a hard working member of the squad. He is an energetic attacker with a direct approach to the game. His goal threat will cause teams no end of problems,” added Maurice-Jones.
