RHYL director of football Eddie Maurice-Jones has turned to his former club once again to seal two more signings.

The Lilywhites confirmed the arrivals of defensive duo Ben Nash and Joe Culshaw ahead of their expected Huws Gray Alliance promotion push, and the pair arrive at the Belle Vue Stadium from second tier rivals Denbigh Town.

Former Town skipper Nash is widely regarded as one of the best defenders operating outside of the JD Welsh Premier League, making 22 appearances last term as they achieved their highest ever league finish under Maurice-Jones and assistant Richard Williams-Cooke.

The ex-Wrexham academy prospect has also enjoyed spells at Connah’s Quay Nomads, Gresford Athletic and Buckley Town in what has been a standout young career to date.

Culshaw also comes with a glittering reputation and has plenty of top flight experience at Bangor City and Cefn Druids, and he also made a handful appearances for Aberystwyth Town under Neville Powell last season before his move to Central Park.

Maurice-Jones, said: “This will be Ben’s fourth season in the Huws Gray Alliance and already he’s making a big name for himself.

“His maturity for a young player is brilliant and he’s destined for big things in the game. The experience he’s gained speaks volumes and I’m looking forward to working with him again for him to fulfil his potential.

“Joe is a great signing who offers us energy and balance to the team. He can operate down both sides and has great positioning, especially when playing a more attacking football style.

“He always gives everything which will stand out for all to see. “
