ENTHUSIASTIC fundraisers hit the fairways for a day of golf and raised £5000.
St Kentigern Hospice’s Rhuddlan golf tournament was held on Friday, July 8. The annual tournament attracted a record number of team entries. Stability IT Support were crowned first place, followed by Alan Bermingham’s CBI Insurance team and a team from Clay’s Golf club came in third. A raffle and auction were held after the presentation of prizes.
Trefor Jones, Chair of the Board of Trustees for St Kentigern, said: “We are extremely grateful to all who support this popular event, and to the Rhuddlan Golf club for allowing us to use their course.
“The hospice is proud to be at the centre of the community which supports it so well. We are currently working on our strategy for the next five years where we hope to enhance the services we offer to our patients in the future.”
