A DAWN walk in aid of St Kentigern Hospice is making its return.

An army of devoted supporters will rise to the occasion with the sun to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the St Kentigern Dawn Walk and raise vital funds for the charity.

Michaella Brannan, community and event fundraiser, said: “Over the last 10 years the Dawn Walk has raised in excess of £110,000 for St Kentigern Hospice. After the past year, it’s lovely to finally provide an event such as the Dawn Walk, which will be our first event since March 2020.

"This year were celebrating with a Limited Edition anniversary t-shirt, designed by local artist, Nanw Hampson. The money raised through the annual Dawn Walk funds the vital work of the hospice, meaning we can be there to help people when they need it most.”

The six-mile walk will take place on Saturday, September 2021 and, for the first time, is starting and finishing at St. Kentigern Hospice.

Entry is open to all over the age of 10, and dogs on leads are welcome.

Entry is £25 or £12.00 for under 18’s for which entrants will receive a limited edition t-shirt, bacon butty and a medal on completion of the walk.
