A CONVICTED sex offender was jailed for six months on Tuesday after being accused of failing to notify police of a new address as required by law.
Darrell Pell, 36, of East Parade, Rhyl, admitted the failure and sending a threatening message to a DWP worker on March 15.
District judge Gwyn Jones at Llandudno Magistrates' Court told him: "Only immediate custody can be justified.”
Defence solicitor Graham Parry said police had been to speak twice to Pell at an hotel so he assumed they knew where he lived. He presented as “quite complex".
