THE re-structured Clwydian Ladies League season 2023 has resulted in a two-division format to accommodate three additional teams, including the re-formed Clwb Bowlio Rhuddlan ladies’ team.
Rhuddlan Ladies, pictured above after their home victory against Rhyl BC Ladies, occupy third place in Division B with a game in hand against their nearest rivals in their quest for promotion at the first attempt.
Meanwhile, congratulations are in order for Val Beaumont following her recall to the Wales ladies’ squad selected to meet Staffordshire in their next BCGBA County Championship match.
Val plays for Rhuddlan's respective teams in the Colwyn/Llandudno League and Clwyd League.
Elsewhere, Grove Park Bowling Club's popular annual seniors open mixed triples competition will now be held on Sunday, October 1 (9.30am draw; 10am start).
Entry fee is £15 per team with a maximum of 16 teams yielding a potential £240 in total prize money to be paid out pro-rata.
