A TOTAL of four gold and two bronze medals was the respectable haul which Prestatyn Running Club members came away with from Saturday’s Arthur Bebbington Twin Piers 10k in Colwyn Bay.

The popular race, which incorporated the North Wales championships, was again won by Daniel Bebbington, grandson of the late Arthur Bebbington from Pensarn, after whom the race is named.

Arthur was a stalwart of Colwyn Bay AAC for many years.

Daniel, a member of Blackburn Harriers, who won the Llandudno – Colwyn Bay race two years ago, finished in 29.47.
