NESTLE has recalled one of its products due to fears they "may contain small pieces of black rubber."

Nestle UK Limited is recalling batches of its Ski Yoghurt Variety Pack with fruit pieces as a “precautionary measure.”

The products affected by the recall have the use by dates February 21, 22, 28, 29 and March 6, 7 and 13.

It has a pack size of 480g (4x 120g) The use by date can be found printed on the right-hand corner of the card sleeve and on the top of each yogurt pot lid.

No other Nestle or Ski Products (including Ski Smooth Yogurt and Ski Mousse) are affected by the recall.

An alert on the Food Standards Agency website says: “Nestlé UK Limited has taken the precautionary step of voluntary recalling Nestlé Ski Yogurt Variety Pack with Fruit Pieces because it may contain small pieces of black rubber due to an isolated incident in its fruit supplier manufacturing process. This recall has been extended to include further use by dates.”

All consumers who have bought packs with use-by dates affected should not consume them.
