Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, has hit out at her son, Prince Harry, in a scathing interview.
In the past, the Prince has described Burrell as a “two-faced s***” whose treachery made his blood boil.
Burrell, who accepts that he is “Marmite”, is aware there are many who criticise his decision to cash in on his work with the Royal household.
The former I'm a Celebrity star admits that his latest memoir, The Royal Insider, was written in part to publicly rebuke a “petulant” Prince Harry, whose truth “may not be the complete truth”.
It’s interesting that Paul Burrell has now become a supposed “insider”. Don’t forget that he left the employ of the royal family after Princess Dian’s death 28 YEARS AGO in 1997.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Burrell claims he was “used” by the Prince, having been summoned to a meeting with both him and Prince William in 2017 to share information about their late mother.
During his High Court phone hacking claim against Mirror Group Newspapers in 2023, the Duke said both he and his brother had “very strong feelings” about Burrell’s indiscretion, and repeated an allegation that he had sold their mother’s possessions.
Burrell was furious. “He got the information he wanted and then had actually another round with me,” he says, incredulously. “Do I just sit back and let that happen? I don’t think so.”
The 67-year-old, who has ruthlessly capitalised on his reputation as Diana’s “rock”, claims he loves both of her “boys” – but is clearly seething about Harry.

“He could reach me and tell me how he thinks, privately, but I’m not allowed to speak in public about his world? It seems to me to be hypocritical,” he says.
Burrell’s latest memoir is littered with similar jibes against Harry, whose actions in recent years are branded “unforgivable”.
“He lives in a world where he directs, writes the scripts of and stars in his own particular soap opera,” he says, adding without irony: “And I think that’s unfair to talk about other people without them having a rebuttal.”
