YESTERDAY (September 15) saw two members of Abergele Harriers head to the Guildon Sutton 10k in Cheshire.
The race has an undulating course, and runners had to cope with wet conditions.
Within the race, many runners at the sharp end, featured in an inter-counties event held within the race, between Cheshire, Staffordshire and North Wales.
Rachel Shipley was one of two Harriers taking part, also captaining the North Wales team.
She finished in an excellent 48th place in 39:16 and seventh lady, to help the ladies team take the win in the inter-counties event.
Also running on the day for the Harriers was Darren Blazier, finishing 45th in 39:09.
The previous Sunday, Gareth Evans took on the Shropshire Olympic Distance Triathlon.
Gareth completed the race in 2:46:46 to finish a creditable 40th out of the 117 participants.
Anthony Howe represented the Harriers at Ruthin parkrun this week, finishing 71st in 44:57.
