ON FRIDAY (August 30), members of Abergele Harriers took part in one of the country’s top 5k races, the Mid Cheshire 5k.
A total of three Harriers took part, with Danny Williams having another storming run.

Setting another new personal best, Danny ran an excellent 17:20 for 368th.
Also running was Darren Blazier, running 18:30 for 545th, and he was followed closely by Rachel Shipley in 18:51 for 585th.
Elsewhere, Anthony Howe was the only Harriers member in parkrun action this week, finishing 56th in the hilly Greenfield parkrun in 48:38.
