LAST Friday (May 17) saw two members of Abergele Harriers represent the running club at one of the highest-quality races in the North West calendar, the Christleton 5k.
First home for the club was Rachel Shipley, running an excellent 18:01 to set a new PB and club record in 164th position and 16th lady.

Also running was Darren Blazier, who finished 215th in 18:50.
Meanwhile, Harriers member Anthony Howe took part in the 400th Conwy parkrun, running 32:35 for 270th.
Gareth Evans ran in this week’s Prestatyn race and finished 16th in a time of 23:55.
