FRESH from running the Chester Ultra Marathon, Abergele Harriers’ Danny Williams took on a much shorter distance yesterday (March 24) - the Colwyn Bay Metric Half Marathon.
In a lovely but cold day, Danny showed no ill effects and stormed to a race victory in an excellent 52:28; the first to finish out of the 87 runners.
Elsewhere, Danny Snelson took part in the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon, finishing in a time of 1:54:48.

Abergele Harriers take on parkruns, marathon and 50-mile race
There were just one Harrier at a parkrun this week - Anthony Howe completed the Dolby Forest event in 28:56 to take 102nd place out of the 175 runners.
The previous weekend, three Harriers took on three different parkruns - Gareth Evans was 13th of the 155 runners in Prestatyn, running 23:21.
Danny Snelson took on the Endcliffe parkrun and was 229th of the 771 runners in 25:48.
Anthony Howe ran the Manor Field parkrun in Whittlesey and finished 31st of the 53 runners in 32:32.
