LAST Saturday (January 13) saw the annual Twin Piers 10k race return to Colwyn Bay, after a hiatus of four years due to flood defence work on the promenade.
A total of four members of Abergele Harriers took part, of which Sean and Steven McCormack were back racing shorter distances.
They finished together in 40:49 for 56th and 57th position.
Sean finished as second V60 in the race and accompanying North Wales Championships.

First home for the club in 27th position and second lady was Rachel Shipley, who was pleased with 37:52 after struggling with a calf injury for much of the race.
Also opening his racing account for the year was Andrew Mercer, took 120th place in 45:07 of the 353 finishers.
Meanwhile, Danny Snelson took part in the Graves parkrun in Sheffield, finishing in 225th in 41:34.
Anthony Howe ran the Conwy parkrun in 33:43 for 155th position.
