LAST Saturday (December 2) saw Abergele Harriers’ Danny Snelson travel to Derbyshire for the Carsington Water Trail Half Marathon.
In tough conditions, Danny ran an excellent race to finish 178th out of the 384 runners in 1:57:30.
The previous week, Darren Blazier continued his race series in Lanzarote; firstly, running the Ridge Run, a 13k race up and down a volcano.
He completed the race in 57:33 for 38th position.
The following day, he ran a 5k beach race on soft sand and was pleased with 19:41 for 32nd.
The final race was a partial off-road half marathon; he was 48th in 1:28:16.
Anthony Howe was the only Harrier in parkrun action this week, with many races cancelled due to the inclement weather.
He finished 140th in the Penrhyn parkrun in 39:10.
