Sunday (June 26) was the Stone St. Michael 10k in Staffordshire, where a North Wales team was taking part.
Harriers runner James Yarwood was selected to run in the team’s vest colours for the first time, and finished 12th with a personal best of 33:55, making him the third North Wales team member to finish.
It was an interesting, if difficult course; blustery with a head wind on miles two and five, before finishing on grass at a school field.
Results: 41st Darren Blazier 37:44; 71st Rachel Shipley 40:21 (second lady, North Wales Team).
