Bestselling author and illustrator to visit Prestatyn

Stacey McNeill, creator of the beloved Fox Under the Moon collection, will appear at The Twisted Tree on High Street on Friday, November 6, from 4pm to 6pm.

Her work is known for its gentle illustrations and uplifting messages about comfort, kindness, and resilience.

Dave Humphreys and Andy Umpleby, owners of The Twisted Tree, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming Stacey to The Twisted Tree.

"Her books and beautiful artwork have such a special place in the hearts of so many people, and we know there will be tremendous excitement about the opportunity to meet her here in Prestatyn.

"We have always believed that independent shops can offer so much more than simply somewhere to buy things.

"We want to create experiences, bring people together and give visitors another reason to come into our wonderful town centre.

"To have an internationally bestselling author choosing to visit a small independent shop on Prestatyn High Street is something we’re incredibly proud of.

"Following the fantastic response to our first book signing, we’re determined to keep building on that success and bring even more exciting events to the town."

Ms McNeill’s newest release, Fox Under the Moon: Finding Light in the Darkness, continues the journey of the thoughtful fox and the wise old moon.

The book explores themes of courage, hope and finding strength during life’s toughest challenges.

The public will have the opportunity to meet Ms McNeill, discuss her work, and get copies of her book signed during the event.

Guests will also be treated to a complimentary glass of cava and a cupcake.

The Twisted Tree is a major stockist of the Fox Under the Moon collection, offering books, greeting cards, jewellery, mugs, prints, and other gifts.

The shop earned a Bronze award for Best High Street Business at the 2025 UK Small Business Awards.

The signing is part of a wider programme of events aimed at boosting footfall and community engagement in the town centre.

Admission to the event is free, and booking can be made in advance through Eventbrite.
