The first-ever musical theatre rave is coming to Rhyl, offering a unique night out.

Stage Door Entertainment Co. is set to launch West End Rave at Queen's Market, blending the buzz of a nightclub with the allure of musical theatre.

The event will feature a DJ, live performers, and tracks from popular shows like Wicked, Mamma Mia!, SIX, and Hamilton.

With musical theatre raves having become popular in larger cities across the UK, the organisers aim to bring the experience closer to home for North Wales residents.

The event is expected to attract audiences from Flintshire, Wrexham, and beyond, providing a local alternative to travelling to Manchester, Liverpool, or further afield.

However, the event has more than just entertainment at its core.

The organisers are keen to create more opportunities for local talent, making live entertainment more accessible and encouraging residents to enjoy unique experiences within their own area.

The managing director of Stage Door Entertainment Co., who has extensive experience in the performing arts, said: "I've seen first-hand just how much incredible talent exists across North Wales.

"Unfortunately, I've also seen how challenging it can be for performers to find consistent, paid opportunities locally.

"That's something we're passionate about changing."

Auditions for West End Rave are currently ongoing, with a particular focus on discovering and employing performers from Rhyl and the surrounding areas.

The aim is to create events that not only entertain audiences but also provide genuine, paid opportunities for local artists.

Affordability is a key factor for the organisers.

Early-bird tickets start at £12.50, standard admission is £15, and discounted group packages are also available.

The organisers said: "We believe people should be able to enjoy a memorable night out without spending a fortune on tickets, travel, and accommodation."

The event is also seen as a boost for the local evening economy.

By introducing new entertainment concepts to towns like Rhyl, the organisers hope to encourage people to spend more time locally, support surrounding hospitality businesses, and discover different experiences on their doorstep.

The organisers said: "Our vision is simple: more opportunities for North Wales performers, more affordable entertainment for local audiences, and more reasons for people to spend their evenings in the region."

The West End Rave is seen as just the beginning for Stage Door Entertainment Co., with plans to develop a broader programme of live productions, themed entertainment, and venue partnerships across North Wales.
