Police speed camera operators have been urged to stop obscuring the view of waiting passengers at a village bus stop.
Sychdyn resident Noel Williams said he had seen a GoSafe van operating in the village "for quite a while."
And recently, he said, operators have taken to positioning it in the vicinity of a bus stop on the Main Road through Sychdyn.
He claims the placement of the vehicle is creating difficulties for public transport users, explaining: "It's been parked so that people waiting in the bus stop shelter for the bus coming from Northop can't see the bus approaching.
"The shelter has glass windows - that's what it's for.
"But for quite some time, it seems to be that the GoSafe van has been there more regularly; it must be a good income generator.
"It completely obscures the passengers' view of the road from within the shelter.
"I went on the bus for the first time in ages the other week and it happened to be raining.
"Myself and two other passengers had to stand on the pavement in the rain because we couldn't see the bus coming."
Mr Williams said he had asked police to move the van to another regular location, but has not as yet received confirmation that will take place.
He said he has also written to Flintshire Council's highways department, and has been told he will be responded to.
"To be honest," he said, "I don't use the bus much but it's the principle of it - and other residents have expressed concerns as well.
"Where the van has moved to is quite advantageous for them (GoSafe) - there's a lot of road clutter such as telegraph poles.
"It makes the van more difficult to see for oncoming drivers.
"I am not condoning speeding at all - but people are having to stand outside the shelter.
"It's just not right and I find it really annoying."
The Leader approached GoSafe for comment, and a spokesperson responded to say the team would be in touch with him directly to discuss his concerns.
