A NEW leisure complex at a holiday park in Prestatyn has opened its doors.
Described as a “stunning new development” by owners Lyons Holiday Parks, the new facility at Lyons Lido Beach welcomed guests for the first time on Friday (September 11).
It comprises a modern welcome area and reception, an owners' lounge, a sales office, and an Autograph restaurant with a bar and outdoor terrace serving food and drinks.
The mayor of Prestatyn, Cllr Anton Sampson, officially opened the complex on Friday afternoon.
Autograph, which also has restaurants at Lyons Eryl Hall in St Asaph and Lyons Woodlands Hall in Ruthin, will be open at Lyons Lido Beach from 12-8pm Monday to Friday, 10am-8pm on Saturdays, and 10am-6pm on Sundays.
Its menu can be viewed online, with daily specials including “burger Monday”, “tapas Tuesday”, “wing-it Wednesday”, “three-course Thursday”, “fish Friday”, “steak Saturday” and “roast Sunday”.
The bar also has a “happy hour” from 2pm until 6pm every weekday, excluding bank holidays.
Lyons said: “It's official - we're open. Thank you to everyone who came along to our opening event, and the dedication of our hard-working team for the completion of this development.
“We'd like to also thank mayor of Prestatyn, Anton Sampson, for officially opening the new complex.
“We hope everyone enjoys the rest of the evening with us.”
Lyons has also been given permission by Denbighshire County Council for “live music, recorded music, late-night refreshments and supply of alcohol” at the site.
Its stated hours of operation will be 9am to 1am from Monday to Sunday, and 11pm to 1am for late-night refreshments.
A previous Lyons statement read: “These facilities are intended to enhance the experience for our holiday guests and holiday home owners by providing a high-quality venue for dining, socialising, and entertainment.
“In addition to serving those staying at the park, the new complex will also be open to the wider community.
“We hope it will become a welcoming destination for local residents and visitors to the area, offering a quality food, drink, and entertainment venue that contributes positively to the local tourism and hospitality offer.
“We look forward to bringing this exciting new facility to Lyons Lido Beach Holiday Park and believe it will provide significant benefits for both our customers and the local community.”
