Works planned on A55 at Penmaenbach Tunnel and headland

MOTORISTS have been warned of forthcoming overnight restrictions on the A55 due to planned tunnel maintenance.

Traffic Wales issued the advice on Sunday morning regarding the A55 Penmaenbach Tunnel and headland.

According to Traffic Wales, the tunnel will be closed with two-way signals in place from 7pm to 7am between Monday and Wednesday, September 7 and September 9.

The headland will then be closed with a contraflow system in place from 7pm to 7am between Wednesday and Thursday (September 9 and September 10).

a spokesperson confirmed that during the works, a 3.2m width limit will be in place.
