A shortage of train crew has led to travel disruption.
Services between Pwllheli and Machynlleth were affected from 9.34am, with the disruption expected to last until 11.30am.
Transport for Wales (TfW) cancelled the 9.34am service and warned passengers to expect delays on other trains along the route.
"We have organised buses to run between Pwllheli and Machynlleth to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost.
