FAMILIES are being invited to a free community fun day in Prestatyn this weekend, featuring indoor and outdoor games, face painting, a bouncy castle and more.
The Prestatyn South West ward community fun day will take place at the Deva Church on Ffordd Pantycelyn, and on the main estate field behind it, from 10am until 2pm on Saturday (August 22).
The event will offer creative activities, craft stalls, emergency services vehicles, and cakes and treats.
It has been organised by Prestatyn South West councillors, Gareth Sandilands and Carol Holliday.
Visitors are being encouraged to walk or cycle to the event where possible.
Organisers have asked people not to bring cars onto the site, including the church grounds and the field behind.
This is to "help keep the event safe and enjoyable for children and families" and to "support a greener, healthier community".
